Lokal-TV Uddevalla is run by volunteers.  It has one employee the founder and producer Christer Bjurstrom

There are about 10 people in the production group, and there are about 20 private and 20 associations members that make up Lokal-TV Uddevalla.

Lokal-TV Uddevalla started in 2003. On the summer 2005 we had our first broadcast via cable-tv net.

We are reach 12.000 households in Uddevalla and 3.000 household in the neighboring 

city of Lysekil.  In 2009 we started to send webb-tv on our website:  www.lokaltvuddevalla.se

Our main income comes from when we are broadcasting the City Council meetings. We are not allowed to broadcast  commercial programs, but we can produce them.

We are involved in the association of Open Channels in Sweden .

Lokal-TV Uddevalla does not have a studio itself.  Currently we meet in several locations around the city, we're hoping to be based in one place in the future. 

We can say that we are a small station with small resources, but we are running the station because we think it is fun and the people who can see us like us.

We use to say that we are like the bumble-bee - it cant fly, but it does anyway. So do we too.
